to get an appointment online is very hard and by phone very frustrateing ,as the que is very long and alot of times when you get to number 1 in que it cuts you off ,and you have to start allover again .
I am new to the area and went into the surgery to register. All of the receptionists are lovely but Lindsey was the one who helped me today. She knows her job, is very polite, friendly and helpful. They all have a tough job on there hands and must have daily battles with tough people but she made me feel very welcome. Thank you look forward to been registered at the surgery soon.

After having a miscarriage in June I have since been contacted by the gp asking if I’ve had my 12 week scan. Received letters from the midwife and now just received a vaccine letter for whooping cough as I’m pregnant. I am totally disgusted in this and many times I’ve rang and told them I’m no longer pregnant which they already no. This is unacceptable and heartbreaking as I am trying to move forward from the pregnancy loss not re live it Everytime doctors get it wrong

i gave up trying to phone for an appointment as i lose the will to live listening to the music and thank goodness I have unlimited minutes on my phone on the rare occasion I try to phone. Why are there no more people answering the phone. when I have had an appointment and am the only one sat in the waiting room how do they still manage not to see me on time even when the has not been someone in before me. Once see I have no complaints about the staff
I received a letter from the Newgate Street Health Centre to make an appointment to see a specialist Nurse re Respiratory Disease Minitoring.
1) impossible to get through on the telephone, waiting sometimes over half an hour and unable to get a receptionist to answer.
2) the letter stated as an alternative in capitals BOOK APPOINTMENTS ONLINE. It is not possible to book a nurse online, only a Doctor for a ten minute phone call.
The only way as far as I can see is to visit the health centre personally, join a queue and finally see a receptionist. Looking at other reviews, numerous complaints re above.
When visiting previously the Doctors and nurses have always been very good, helpful and professional. It is near impossible le these days to get an appointment to see them.
I’m. It going to try any more to get an appointment, thank God I’m in good health.
